Just read an excellent essay by Uncle Orson on Creationism, intelligent design, and the like. The kind of argument I'd like to have made in the parish newsletter. Except that my word limit is about 250 words, and this essay contains 3626.

enjoyed reading the link on ID vs Creationism, and also some of the comments enlightened me a bit..seems that people get awful wordy in the debate. But I wrote a blog regarding my beliefs, mostly feeling weary of being called an idiot for believing in creation. I have thought this through a lot, and developed my own beliefs based on much of my biology studies,,,open to other ideas, but when i read evolutionary "data", i have yet to be impressed by anything new that takes away from my beliefs. I just wish others would use their heads more instead of "trusting" all scientists. My blog was written on Nov. 15---i cannot figure out how to send you the specific link and my blog is very basic---i don't have archives--atticus
